Chamber Crew

Introducing the Chamber Crew Committee:

Chamber Crew will be made up of Junior and Senior students that will serve along side with the Chamber Director. We will be a growing team of professionals who are willing to volunteer their time and skills to provide a vital link between the Chamber and our members. The students will serve as an extension to our board members to help ensure each member is receiving the full value of their investment. The Committee will consist of no more than 8 students.

Etiquette:

Consistently and positively promote the Hamburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors.
Conduct yourself in a business manner - you are representing the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
Smile and be friendly and make guest feel welcome.
Dress in appropriate attire for each event, wearing the Chamber Crew name tag.
When at an event as a crew member please remember that you are there representing the Chamber and your business/organization.
If food or beverage is provided, you may partake when appropriate to do so. If you would like something that is not offered, you should pay for that additional item.
Please do not bring guests unless specified.

Crew Member Responsibilities:

Generate enthusiasm and a sense of camaraderie while supporting the community and attending Chamber events
Assist Chamber staff by request at events such as the Annual Awards Banquet, Armadillo Festival, Paint the Town Purple, & Hamburg Holidays, etc.
Positively engage with new and existing members via phone, social media, email, and in person to build and retain membership
Participate in Crew Member Committee meetings
Up to a two-year commitment to serve as a Crew Member
- We reserve the right to remove crew member from the program at the discretion of the Board

Deadlines:

Committee in place by Friday, August 1, 2025

Crew Member Committee meeting is to be determined after committee is selected.

Who can Apply:

Anyone who is a junior or senior within the Hamburg School District is welcome to apply to be a Crew Member.

Applications will be reviewed by the Hamburg Chamber Board of Directors.
